Several Formula 1 drivers were handed penalties during a dramatic Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, with the FIA stewards taking action over yellow-flag infringements.

Franco Colapinto was among the drivers punished after Alpine’s driver was found to have overtaken Yuki Tsunod while double yellow flags were being displayed. The FIA confirmed the infringement occurred during the race.

Colapinto was also investigated for failing to slow sufficiently for a single yellow flag, resulting in another penalty.

The penalties added further drama to a race that saw Lando Norris claim victory, while several drivers failed to reach the chequered flag. The FIA’s provisional classification confirms Norris as the winner after 72 laps.

The stewards continued to issue decisions after the race, meaning the Dutch Grand Prix remained under scrutiny even after the chequered flag.

No driver was disqualified from the race in the FIA provisional classification, although multiple drivers were classified as retired.
