Ferrari boss warns Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc over behaviour ahead of F1 title fight

Ferrari has issued a clear warning to Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as the team prepares for an increasingly intense battle during the Formula 1 season. With both drivers carrying enormous expectations, Ferrari management has stressed the importance of maintaining discipline, teamwork and professionalism as the championship fight develops.

Hamilton arrived at Ferrari with the experience of seven world championships behind him, while Leclerc has established himself as one of the team’s leading figures. Their partnership has created considerable excitement among fans, but it also presents Ferrari with the challenge of managing two highly ambitious drivers competing for the same ultimate prize.

Ferrari’s leadership understands that tensions can rise when championship positions become increasingly important. As the season progresses, every qualifying position, strategic decision and race result could have an impact on the title standings. The team therefore wants both drivers to keep their focus on achieving Ferrari’s collective objectives rather than allowing personal competition to damage the team’s progress.

The warning is particularly significant because Hamilton and Leclerc are both known for their determination. Neither driver is likely to surrender a position easily, especially when valuable championship points are at stake. Ferrari must therefore ensure that competition between its two stars remains healthy and does not develop into unnecessary conflict.

Team orders could also become an important subject later in the campaign. If one Ferrari driver finds himself in a stronger championship position, difficult decisions may have to be made regarding strategy and race positioning. Such situations can create controversy, particularly when both drivers believe they deserve an equal opportunity to fight for victory.

For Hamilton, the Ferrari project represents another major chapter in his career. The British driver is determined to make the partnership successful and prove that he can still compete at the highest level. Leclerc, meanwhile, will be eager to establish himself as Ferrari’s leading title contender and demonstrate that he can defeat one of the most accomplished drivers in Formula 1.

Ferrari’s message is therefore less about restricting the drivers and more about reminding them of their responsibilities. The team needs both men to work together when necessary, share information and respect decisions made on the pit wall.

The championship battle could become particularly demanding as the calendar moves toward its decisive stages. Small mistakes, disagreements or clashes between teammates could have major consequences for Ferrari’s hopes of securing both championships.

For the Italian team, the ideal scenario is to allow Hamilton and Leclerc to push each other to greater performances while ensuring that their rivalry remains under control. Ferrari believes that having two competitive drivers can be a major advantage, provided they remain united behind the team’s wider ambitions.

As the title fight intensifies, attention will inevitably remain on Hamilton and Leclerc. Their ability to compete fiercely while respecting Ferrari’s instructions could ultimately prove just as important as their speed on the track.

Ferrari’s warning serves as a reminder that championship success is not achieved through individual talent alone. With the pressure rising, Hamilton and Leclerc will need to demonstrate maturity, cooperation and consistency if Ferrari is to turn its enormous potential into championship success.
