F1 Qualifying Results: Italian Grand Prix Time, Positions and….

Formula 1 qualifying takes centre stage at Monza on Saturday as the drivers battle for pole position ahead of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix.

The session is expected to produce a closely fought battle at the high-speed Temple of Speed, with Ferrari hoping to deliver a strong result in front of its home supporters.

George Russell enters qualifying with plenty of confidence after setting the fastest time in Friday’s second practice session. The Mercedes driver posted a 1:22.559, finishing just 0.120 seconds ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, while championship leader Kimi Antonelli was third.

Leclerc and Ferrari also showed impressive pace during FP1, with the Monegasque driver leading a Ferrari one-two alongside Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton will be hoping that performance can translate into a strong qualifying result and put him in contention for victory on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Antonelli faces a difficult weekend despite his strong pace. The Mercedes driver is set to start Sunday’s race from the back of the grid following an engine-related grid penalty, meaning his qualifying position will not determine his starting place in the normal way.

McLaren will also be looking to bounce back after a less convincing Friday. Lando Norris arrives at Monza after winning the Dutch Grand Prix and will be targeting another strong result as the championship battle continues.
