Just in: Max Verstappen Crashes Out of Dramatic Dutch Grand Prix….Read more

Max Verstappen’s hopes of celebrating in front of his home crowd ended in dramatic fashion after the Red Bull driver crashed out of the Dutch Grand Prix early in the race.
The Dutchman was involved in a major incident on Lap 2, with the crash bringing out the red flag and temporarily halting the race. According to the latest report, Verstappen’s Red Bull sustained significant damage, while the four-time world champion was able to get out of the car safely.
The incident marked a disastrous start to Verstappen’s home Grand Prix, particularly after he had faced difficulties with pace heading into the weekend. His early retirement now leaves him without the opportunity to fight for victory at Zandvoort.
Meanwhile, Lando Norris made a strong start from pole position, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli also among the leading runners before the crash interrupted the action.
The red flag gave marshals the opportunity to clear the damaged car and debris from the circuit before racing could resume.
For Verstappen, however, the damage was already done. His Dutch Grand Prix had come to a premature end in front of thousands of disappointed home fans.
