JUST IN: Hamilton Gets Ferrari ‘Reset’ as Verstappen Faces Final Dutch GP — Leclerc Has One Big Warning for Ferrari

20 minutes ago — Formula 1 fans have been handed another major storyline ahead of the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.

Lewis Hamilton is heading into the weekend with Ferrari reportedly preparing an all-new chassis for the seven-time world champion, raising fresh questions about whether the Scuderia is finally ready to give Hamilton the machinery he needs to fight at the front.

But Hamilton is not the only major name under the spotlight.

Max Verstappen arrives at his home race knowing this will be the last Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort for the foreseeable future. The Red Bull driver has won three of the five Dutch GPs held since the circuit returned to the calendar in 2021, and another victory would give the Orange Army a spectacular farewell.

And then there is Ferrari.

Charles Leclerc has already made it clear that Ferrari cannot afford to stand still. The Monegasque wants the team to continue pushing aggressive upgrades as the championship battle develops. He has also admitted that if Ferrari cannot win the title, he would be happy to see Mercedes youngster Kimi Antonelli take it.

That makes Zandvoort particularly interesting.

Hamilton and Leclerc are fighting for Ferrari supremacy while Mercedes currently controls the championship picture. Antonelli leads the drivers’ standings, with Hamilton among the closest challengers, while Ferrari desperately needs a strong second half of the season.

And Verstappen?

He may not be leading the championship, but a victory at his final home Grand Prix would instantly become one of the defining moments of his 2026 season.

The Dutch weekend also carries another twist: Zandvoort will host its first-ever F1 Sprint, meaning there will be even more opportunities for Hamilton, Leclerc and Verstappen to collide in the fight for crucial points.

With Mercedes having taken pole position at all but one race this season, Ferrari’s new approach will face an immediate test.

Hamilton wants redemption. Leclerc wants Ferrari to fight harder. Verstappen wants one final victory in front of the Orange Army.

And if Ferrari’s new Hamilton package delivers at Zandvoort, the title battle could suddenly become much more interesting.

The Dutch Grand Prix is no longer just Verstappen’s farewell. It could be the weekend Ferrari finally announces that it is ready to fight Mercedes.
